Stitch Fix Review No. 2

Welcome to my 2nd Stitch Fix review. This is actually the 3rd fix I have received, but I was so disappointed by my second fix, I had decided not to order any more Fixes. But, a couple weeks ago, I decided to try Stitch Fix again for fall and I am pleased to report, I was very happy with this Fix. I have some renewed confidence in Stitch Fix as a personal stylist for me!

Stitch Fix is a subscription box of clothing and accessories delivered monthly (more or less if you wish). Your personal Stitch Fix stylist will choose five items unique to your style and budget for your FIX. These items may include shirts, sweaters, pants, skirts, dresses, outerwear and accessories. Before your Stitch Fix stylist picks out your items, they will review the style survey you fill out on Stitch Fix and also view the Pinterest board you create for Stitch Fix with looks you love. Once you receive your “FIX”, you have 3 days to try on your items and decide what you will keep and what you will return to Stitch Fix. There is a $20 styling fee for each box shipped from Stitch Fix, which is applied to any items purchased. If you purchase all five items, you receive 25% off the total. Stitch Fix offers free shipping both ways. Also, new to Stitch Fix are petite and maternity sizes! If you are interesting in trying Stitch Fix for yourself, you can sign up here.

Here's What was in my Fix

Navy Kut From The Kloth Denna Skinny Jean $78

I LOVE these Jeans! They are super soft and have a great stretch to them. The length is perfect for me; my legs are on the longer side. The dark color is great and the waist lands just below the belly button, which I like. I am definitely keeping these!

Teal Green Pixley Abriella Waffle Knit Cardigan $48

I really love the color, style and fabric of this sweater. The one thing I do not like is the length of the sleeves. I have long arms and the sleeves are a couple inches too short for a cover sweater. I wouldn't be happy with the sleeves, so I am returning this one.

Coral 41Hawthorn Breyson Pleated Tab-Sleeve Blouse $58

This blouse is light and flows with movement. The length of the sleeves work for me and they can also roll up and button to turn into mid-length sleeves. This is a great fall color and has the same fabric design on that back that is on the front. I am keeping this blouse.

Edit: After trying this blouse on again and looking at it in a different light, I decided I am returning this one. The loops to hold the rolled up sleeve are visible when the sleeves are down, and I did not like how it looked rolled up. Also, I noticed a couple of the button threads were already coming undone, and I would never get to fixing it if they came off.

Dark Grey Market & Spruce Nina Asymmetrical Sweater Tunic $68

I really like grey, so I was excited to see what this would be. When I unfolded it, I didn't think I would like the style, and I turned out to be correct. The fabric is thick, so it doesn't drape and flow like a baggy shirt of this style should. I am returning this one.

Light Green Sweet Rain Dristol V-Neck Blouse $54

I really like this blouse! I love the light teal and navy color combination. 3/4 sleeves are great on me since I have such long arms and have trouble with sleeve length. This blouse will be great for business casual. I am keeping this shirt.

I am pretty pleased with this fix, especially since it is my first of the fall season. I expect my next fix to be as good if not better since my stylist will now have a better idea of items I need and want for fall. If you are ready to try Stitch Fix for yourself, start here!
